So, the liner notes of this brand new MoonJune release is tagged as "ethnofusion" (among many other tags). Slovenian bandleader Vasko Atanasovski (compositions, sax, flute) and his all-european accomplices offer exactly that. Folkloristic elements (not only European) put in a jazzy context. Great compositions, sparkling arrangements (by quite an unusual assembly of instruments), virtuously played (by everyone involved, but I like to point out Vasko's 17 year-old son Ariel on cello). Thanks to the nice-endof-year-offer I came to fill this gap in my private worm collection (a, pardon me, worm hole, so to speak :-))
Wonderful reminiscence to many good things past (Canterbury, 70s prog, folk rock) with a good sense of humour and great ideas (both in the songwriting & in the arrangements) . Carsten Pieper

An amazing follow-up to Fractal Guitar. I came across Fractal Guitar as a fan of Markus Reuter, and after downloading that had to go ahead and download all the other music Stephan has on Bandcamp. Love this stuff... crimlarks

No one does music quite like Camille and Xavier do. I see their music as being akin to soundtracks for unfilmed movies. In this instance it is a movie about explorers of mountainous terrain, perhaps the terrain of our lives. Merci pour cette musique si intrigante. :-) sumbuk
